But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles

Listen

The Verse:

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles." — Isaiah 40:31

Thoughts:

Waiting is probably the hardest thing we have to do. We want answers now, healing now, and breakthroughs yesterday. But there’s a specific kind of strength that only grows in the waiting room. It’s like an eagle catching a thermal; they don't flap their wings harder to get higher, they just catch the wind. When we stop struggling and start trusting, God provides a lift that we can't create on our own. If you’re feeling drained, stop pushing so hard and just trust His timing.

My Prayer:

Dear God, help me to be okay with the "not yet." I’m tired of trying to force things to happen in my own timing. I’m choosing to put my hope in You today, believing that You are renewing my strength even when I don’t feel it yet. Lift me up above my current circumstances and give me Your perspective on my life. Thank You for never leaving me to struggle alone. Amen.
