The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear ?

Listen

The Verse:

"The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear?" — Psalm 27:1

Thoughts:

It’s funny how a small problem can feel like a giant mountain when we’re staring at it in the dark. Anxiety loves to grow in the "what-ifs." But this verse reminds us that we have a light that never flickers. If the God who created the stars is on your side, what is there to actually be afraid of? You don’t need to see five miles down the road today. You just need enough light for the next step. Take that step with confidence He’s already there waiting for you.

My Prayer:

Father, thank You for being my light when things feel blurry or scary. When I start to spiral into fear, please pull me back and remind me who You are. I don’t want to live my life looking over my shoulder; I want to live looking at You. Give me a bold heart today and help me to trust Your lead, even when the path looks a little uncertain. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
