Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

Listen

The Verse:

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." — Matthew 6:34

Thoughts:

Anxiety is almost always a "time traveler." It drags us into a future that hasn't even happened yet, making us fight battles that don't exist. Jesus gives us such practical advice here: stay in today. You have the grace you need for right now, but you aren't equipped for next week yet. When your mind starts racing toward "what if," gently pull it back to "what is." Focus on the breath you’re taking and the God who is holding you at this very moment.

My Prayer:

Lord, my mind keeps running ahead of me. I’m worrying about things I can’t even control yet. Please help me stay grounded in the present. I trust that when I get to tomorrow, Your grace will be waiting for me there, just like it’s here for me now. Help me to just focus on the next right step. Amen.
